— Guest houses & B&B

Cleanliness
that shows.

In a guest house or B&B, your guests live in your home: cleanliness is seen, breathed and told in reviews. A central vacuum cleans deeply and the suctioned air is discharged out of the living areas, never blown back into the bedrooms — a concrete argument for travellers sensitive to dust.

— The guest house standard

Cleanliness
that shows.

Guest bedroom, table d'hôtes, shared lounge: in a guest house, the guest stays in someone's home and notices every detail. A standard vacuum stirs up dust and blows it back into the room, where travellers sometimes sensitive to mites are staying.

With a central vacuum, a single inlet per floor lets you clean each bedroom deeply, without lugging a vacuum around. The suctioned air is never blown back into the bedrooms or shared rooms: it is discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation, with discharge outside recommended, which limits the resuspension of fine dust. The hose type — retractable or traditional — is determined on site depending on use: discover our retractable hoses.

— Standard vacuum vs central vacuum

Where does
the air go?

A standard vacuum, a robot or a stick vacuum filters part of the dust but blows the air back into the room where it runs. With an AspiWall central vacuum, the dirt is sent to the central unit and the vacuumed air is expelled out of the living areas or out of the occupied zones, which limits the re-suspension of fine dust. That is what makes the difference in buildings open to the public and places sensitive to dust.

— Made by Trovac

A benchmark for
air quality.

AspiWall offers central units in Belgium made by Trovac, among other manufacturers. Trovac's central vacuum system has been distinguished by AFPRAL (the French Association for Allergy Prevention) since July 2014. An important reference for buildings where air quality, dust, dust mites and allergens are sensitive matters.

— Frequently asked questions

Your questions.
Our answers.

How is a central vacuum a selling point?

Because impeccable cleanliness is seen and told in reviews. A central vacuum system signals a well-kept, premium guest house; it's a comfort detail your guests notice and that adds value to your establishment.

Is it a plus for travellers sensitive to dust?

Yes. The suctioned air is discharged out of the living areas or out of occupied zones, which limits the resuspension of fine dust. Combined with deep cleaning, it's a real comfort for guests sensitive to mites, without however being a medical protection.

Does the suctioned air come back into the bedrooms?

No. It is discharged where the central unit sits — a utility room, a ventilated crawl space or outside, depending on the installation, with discharge outside recommended. It is never blown back into the bedrooms or shared rooms where your guests stay.

How many inlets does a guest house need?

It depends on the surface and the number of bedrooms. Generally, one inlet per floor and one in the shared rooms. AspiWall provides a free study from plans or on site.

Can the system be installed in a guest house that is already open?

Yes, installation is possible in an existing property. Contact AspiWall to assess feasibility based on your guest house.
